The August 26th flash flood disaster in Nepal created untold loss and destruction. Our ministry partner Sundar Dhoka Saathi Sewa, has long held a reputation for expertise in finding/serving those most in need during such events. The Nepali government has granted full access to SDSS and their team to help on fronts from medical, food, health, temporary housing, logistics, orphaned children, school education, trauma counselling, crisis management within government offices, and much much more. While aid does pour in during such events, it is the hands of people who deliver the help. Across all domains, resources (financial, expertise, and basic manpower) in Nepal are grossly inadequate.
