Her keynote session will be about how to design our homeschool by dua. She will inshaAllah guide us on how to build a dream dua mindset and lifestyle that traditional goal setting doesn&#39;t even come near! &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;This session will be followed by a Q&amp; A panel with guest speaker Asad Choudhary, cofounder of the Islamic School Association of Canada, and Tarbiyah Learning Academy - which started out as a homeschool collective! He is currently conducting his PhD research on the wellbeing of Islamic school principals, in addition to teaching as a professor of Early Childhood leadership. He was awarded the 2016 Alberta Distinguished Leadership Award while serving as principal for the Palliser School Division.&nbsp; He will be joined by experienced homeschooling parents and key community experts from our local community as they share valuable, practical advice and perspective. In the student Q&amp;A panel and showcase, attendees will have the opportunity to directly ask homeschooled students of different ages about their experiences, and students will have the opportunity to share what has and hasn&#39;t worked for them, and showcase their proudest work and accomplishments. &nbsp; The final session will be a focused strategy meeting where attendees will be guided through building a homeschool daily/weekly/monthly plan. Key opportunities throughout the year will be discussed in a shared calendar, along with tips on how to pace the year and how to select and prepare for various educational events and opportunities.&nbsp; This summit is an opportunity to build meaningful connections with other Muslim homeschooling families, ask questions in a welcoming environment, exchange ideas, and become part of Ottawa&#39;s growing homeschool community. This online session, brought to you by OMHN, walks homeschooling parents through mapping out the year ahead &mdash; setting realistic goals for each child, choosing and sequencing curriculum, building a rhythm that fits your family, and knowing what to adjust when the schedule inevitably shifts.Whether you&#39;re in your first year or your tenth, you&#39;ll leave with a working plan for September rather than a stack of good intentions. Summer Retreat &mdash; 5D Thinking Essentials Training Teaching the Ontario Science Curriculum with an Islamic Worldview Join ISAC and 5D Thinking for a full-day training built for educators who want their science classrooms to do more than transfer content.&nbsp; The 5D Thinking framework gives teachers a practical method for moving students beyond the &quot;what&quot; of the Ontario Science curriculum into a God-centered &quot;why&quot; &mdash; connecting Ontario curriculum expectations to meaning and purpose rooted in an Islamic worldview. Over the day you&#39;ll learn the five dimensions of the framework, see them modelled through Ontario science expectations, and leave with lesson ideas you can use in September.
