To meet the growing demand for authentic Montessori education in our city, we are launching a $500,000 Capital Campaign for our vital building expansion needs. Our theme for this campaign is &quot;Peace by Piece.&quot; In the Montessori tradition, peace is not just an abstract concept; it is something we build daily through intentional actions, supportive environments, and community care. Support Equitable Access to Global and Experiential Learning At Isthmus Montessori Academy Public School, we know that learning extends far beyond the classroom. Our learners are given opportunities to explore the world, engage with complex global issues, and develop the confidence and skills to lead with empathy, curiosity, and purpose. One of these opportunities includes participation in Montessori Model United Nations (MMUN), where our delegates will travel to Bangkok, Thailand (November 20-23, 2026) to collaborate with peers from around the world. Experiences like this invite learners to step into real-world problem solving, practice diplomacy, and live out the Montessori values of peace, respect, and global citizenship. Our Commitment to Equity We are deeply committed to ensuring that every learner has access to these transformative experiences- regardless of financial circumstance. All funds raised go toward supporting the group as a whole. We do not fundraise or allocate costs on an individual basis. Instead, we work collectively to ensure that every learner who is ready for this opportunity can participate fully, with dignity and belonging. Every gift -- no matter the size -- helps us continue building a community where access, opportunity, and belonging are at the center. Isthmus Montessori Academy is Madison&rsquo;s first and only public Montessori school, and we are proud to nurture learners who are not only academically prepared, but socially conscious and globally aware.
