The Jack Yates National Alumni Association preserves the legacy of Jack Yates High School by fostering community connections, supporting scholarships to empower future generations, and celebrating the centennial milestone of education in Houston.

For a century, Jack Yates has been a place of excellence, pride, resilience, and leadership rooted in the Third Ward. This kickoff brings alumni and the community together to preserve that history and invest in future generations. Hear about how you can help preserve the history of Jack Yates. We will learn how to collect photos, memorabilia, letters, and memories so future generations can understand what Jack Yates has meant across decades. Hosting this event at the Heritage Society Museum is intentional&mdash;it places the Jack Yates story within Houston&rsquo;s broader historical landscape.
