Kansas City Symphony Alliance

The Kansas City Symphony Alliance supports the Kansas City Symphony by organizing events like the Designers' Showhouse, where local designers transform homes into beautiful showcases, with proceeds benefiting the Symphony's programs and outreach.

Don’t miss our traditional Fall General Membership Meeting! Reconnect with friends, enjoy a delicious meal and get the inside scoop on everything happening at KCSA. This year’s meeting will be held at the Quivira Falls Community Center, 10990 Westgate Street in Overland Park, just north of Johnson County Community College. We’ll enjoy wine, appetizers, dinner and dessert—and member directories will be available, too!

The concert may end—but we’re keeping the groove going! Following the Kansas City Symphony’s Dancing in the Street: The Music of Motown, join us at Shirley Bush Helzberg Symphony House next door to the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts for wine, hors d’oeuvres and a whole lot of fun. Don’t head home when the final note is played—come mingle with your KCSA friends and keep the Motown spirit alive! Not attending the concert? No problem—you’re still invited to the party!

Motown Dancing in the Streets - After Concert Party

This is a rare opportunity to go behind the scenes and watch as Matthias Pintscher and the Kansas City Symphony rehearse Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring. See how the conductor and musicians work together to bring this extraordinary music to life! We’ll gather for lunch at Mildred’s Food and Drink (1901 Wyandotte) at 11:45 a.m. before heading to the rehearsal at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Lunch is on your own, but there is no charge to attend the rehearsal.
