2026 Sandy Springs Household Hazardous Waste Event

Spring cleaning season is here &mdash; and this year, you don&#39;t have to guess where it all goes! Keep North Fulton Beautiful is partnering with the City of Johns Creek to bring you a free community bulky recycling event right at City Hall.&nbsp;&nbsp; Swing by and responsibly dispose of the big stuff that&#39;s been piling up: electronics, large appliances, bikes, tools, small furniture, bulky metals, books, clothing, and more. Free Bikes 4 Kidz Atlanta will also be on-site accepting bikes in any condition to give them a second life with a child in need.

Spring cleaning season is here, and we&#39;ve got just the place for all that paper you&#39;ve been meaning to deal with!Join Keep North Fulton Beautiful for a Free Community Shredding Day &mdash; bring your documents, we&#39;ll shred them on-site, safely and securely. This event is free to attend, but if you&#39;d like to support the environmental programs that make events like this possible, a suggested donation of $15 means the world to us. Every little bit keeps us going! See you May 1st. 🌿

On Friday, June 26, Keep North Fulton Beautiful is partnering with the City of Sandy Springs to give Sandy Springs residents a free, responsible way to dispose of the hazardous materials that have been taking up space in garages, cabinets, and closets. Paint, chemicals, solvents, antifreeze, pesticides, fluorescent bulbs, electronics, batteries &mdash; if it&#39;s been sitting around because you didn&#39;t know what to do with it, we want it. This event is free for Sandy Springs residents, but it takes real resources to make it happen &mdash; vendors, staff, coordination, and the infrastructure to make sure everything we collect is handled responsibly and kept out of our waterways and landfills. Your tax-deductible donation helps Keep North Fulton Beautiful continue offering free community recycling events like this one throughout the year.
