Kink Center

Kink Center is a nonprofit community center in Capitol Hill, Seattle providing an accessible, inclusive third space for the kink community. Kink Center prioritizes accessibility, inclusivity, and affordability in all programming and venue operations.

Working 101 is required for working 102. You may&nbsp;audit&nbsp;either class without pre-req.&nbsp;Puppy Play 102 -August 1 from 7:30-9:30pm - Introduction to Electronic collar training and Off-leash Obedience Are you a budding Handler, Top, pup, sub or Dominant who would like to develop or improve your Leash and Pet Handling skills? While this class is centered around Puppy Play, we invite all pets, critters, subs, Doms and Handlers to attend as the concepts being taught are adaptable to all things Behavior. In this class, we will cover the fundamentals of Operant Conditioning, marker training, and lay foundational work for Engagement rituals and Obedience. Student handlers will learn how to evaluate and establish baselines for each pup and to modify techniques and practices to preserve safety and health. Students will learn how to play on each other&#39;s strengths, mold weaknesses into strengths, all while building a deeper bond with each other. What to bring:- Dress comfortably - think gym and athletic wear. You should be wearing something you can comfortably squat, crawl, and move around&nbsp;- Water and your own snacks/food- slave or puppy hood - must be able to see and breathe comfortably- Leash - if you have&nbsp;- Collar - if you have&nbsp;- Treats - be creative: m&amp;ms, skittles, croutons, grapes, apple slices and tampons have been used. Don&#39;t ask. Treats should be something that the pup can easily chew and swallow, but please be mindful of choking risks.- Puppy toys - tugs, balls, squeaky toys- if you like &#39;em and you have &#39;em, bring &#39;em. We will have leashes on hand for anyone who needs to borrow them for class. If you&#39;re missing any gear, we can work around it. About the Instructor:The Samoan Goddess, Miss Jade, hails straight from the Islands of Samoa, is a Marine Corps Veteran and has worked in the Behavioral Psychology industry for over a decade as a Life Skills and Executive Functioning Coach for neurodivergent adults. She has owned her own Behavioral coaching practice for the last 8 years, teaching clients how to mitigate PTSD symptoms by creating better coping habits, while also contracting as a trainer to help other Therapy practices create and incorporate Animal-assisted therapies into their programs. She enjoys watching her students grow and gain self-confidence in their ability to problem-solve under pressure and on their feet. Health &amp; Safety:You are responsible for your own health and safety. Pups should be able to do 10 squats comfortably and be able to move around on all fours for 3-5-min increments. If you have any health and mobility limitations that may affect our work together (high blood pressure, bad knees, etc.), please disclose them during class so we can adjust ourselves accordingly. Relationships with dominant/submissive dynamics are so widely varied, each one is different from the next. That’s the incredible beauty and liberation of D/s relationships — they are designer, highly customized, made to order for exactly the people who are in them right now. However, that can also be the challenge: how do you customize a D/s relationship to exactly what *you* want?&nbsp; In this D/s intensive, we will cover the major building blocks of D/s relationships, so you can decide which ones are the right fit for you. Class Description:&nbsp; New to non-monogamy or feeling lost in the terminology? This beginner-friendly class breaks down the language of polyamory in clear, practical ways you can actually use. We&rsquo;ll cover key terms, evolving concepts, and current conversations in the community. Come get clarity, ask questions, and build confidence navigating non-monogamous spaces. Instructor Bio:&nbsp; Sharon Bruises (she/her) has been practicing polyamory since 2002 and has been an active organizer in the kink community since 2009. She has been teaching kink education classes since 2016, with a primary focus on fire play and polyamory. She currently facilitates a monthly polyamory discussion group in Tacoma, Washington, creating space for learning, connection, and community conversation.

Class Description: Scenes are made or broken by how you adapt to the unexpected. Sometimes this is a major problem, but much more often it&#39;s small things. External events happen, gear fails, people are complicated. We run with something working unexpectedly well. We try new things and do them imperfectly or discover the fantasy was hotter. These are things you can do before, during, and after play to decrease the risks and increase the benefits of error. &nbsp;This class will include presentation on skills, and talking through real-life incidents small and large. Many of the incidents will be accompanied by video; some of Russell&#39;s many imperfect moments have been recorded by camera crews. Join your favorite Bay Area brat Harley as she leads you through a crash course in all that embodies her demon soul: Bratting! She&#39;ll lead you through common brat archetypes, with exercises to pinpoint and encourage your inner brat. Negotiation techniques for both Tops and Bottoms, playing well with others in scene, as well as tips and tricks to keep you focused on being your best bratty self. An all levels class aimed at brat bottoms, but with information for everyone who is interested or curious about them! There will be plenty of time for Q&amp;A as well. About the presenter: Harley is a bratty painslut who enjoys the beauty of fire, latex and bruises. A former host for SOUL, a POC play party and co-host for Kinky Colorful Conscious munch. She began her journey as a kinky concierge at Wicked Grounds Cafe. She&#39;s been jumping into scenes butt first for 8 years and has developed a love for latex, wax play and heavy impact with a cheeky attitude. These classes are hosted on multiple dates but they are not continuations of the previous. You will receive all of the information in each individual class. You are welcome to attend as many as you like! First class from 6-7pm is lecture style: Come sit and learn in our lecture about how to develop and use awareness in everyday life! Learn how to stay present and aware in your surroundings, to keep yourself safe in urban life! Second class from 7:30-8:30 involves physical movement:&nbsp;Come be active in our self defense workshop! In this workshop, we&#39;ll go over how to keep your body in good condition while living a busy life, as well as basic self-defense for keeping yourself safe in emergency situations. **Note: Please be dressed comfortably to stretch and exercise.** About the educator: Lionel Abdool (he/him) has been part of the Seattle kink community since 2018. He has worked on the education committees of leather orgs, like Seattle Leather Service Corps, to help organize and provide kink education to the community, as well as hosting private events in the Seattle area and kink education events at conventions. He is a certified 2nd Dan in Taekwondo and Hapkido and has been a martial arts instructor for 10 years working with people ages 3 to 60. Additionally he is a Certified Personal Trainer, self defense instructor, and group fitness instructor.
