Inspired by the rich traditions of New Orleans Mardi Gras, the evening will begin with the Porus Royal Coronation, a magnificent ceremony presenting the reigning King and Queen of Porus alongside their distinguished Royal Court in a breathtaking display of pageantry, elegance, and timeless Mardi Gras tradition. The celebration continues with world-class entertainment, premium open bars, lavish culinary experiences, exclusive VIP lounges, opulent d&eacute;cor, Immersive photo opportunities, and unforgettable moments that blend luxury, culture, and celebration into one extraordinary evening. Hosted by the Krewe of Porus Social Aid &amp; Pleasure Club, Houston&#39;s first African American all-male Mardi Gras krewe, the ball is more than an extraordinary social event. As a nonprofit organization, proceeds directly support our community initiatives, including our mentorship program for young men ages 21 through 29, professional development workshops, educational programming, and scholarships for deserving students.
