How Can I Begin an Endowment?With just $100, you can establish a legacy at LPL and honor you, a loved one or a business entity. Build your endowment at your own pace until it reaches $1,000 and is considered fully funded. What Does My Endowment Purchase for the Library?Once your endowment reaches $1,000, it is fully funded and will purchase one book per year in the subject field you choose. In recognition of your generosity, each book funded by your Endowment will contain a bookplate acknowledging your chosen honoree. Your generous gift will fund this legacy in perpetuity…yes…that means forever! You can also contribute to an existing endowment, adding to the legacy of others or continuing to build upon your own. Contributions are invested to maintain the fund's value and generate income to support the library’s mission for generations.
