Our nonprofit is made up of part-time volunteers who are giving much of our time to our mission of stopping data center development in Lake County, and more urgently facilitating the legal process of bringing a lawsuit against the Grayslake Government for violating open meetings statutes and your constitutional rights to Due Process regarding their deliberate concealment of the fact they were voting for a hyperscale AI data center between September 2024 and May of 2025.As we've shared from the beginning, all fundraising to date has been dedicated exclusively to legal expenses. We are now launching a separate Zeffy fundraiser to help cover operational costs of running our nonprofit, including a mailing address, nonprofit administration, website (we will be launching our website soon), virtual meeting platform subscription, printing and outreach materials, accessibility accommodations for presentations/events, insurance, and other operating expenses. Keeping these funds separate ensures complete transparency and allows supporters to choose how they'd like to contribute.
