Lazarus Ministries KC

Lazarus Ministries KC empowers Kansas City neighbors in need through food, shelter, and support services. Our mission is to foster community and provide sustainable resources, helping individuals achieve stability and hope for a better future.

Join us for an evening of friendship, community, and impact as Lazarus Ministries presents our 100 Friends of Lazarus Annual Fundraiser. On October 10, we're bringing together friends. Old and new, who believe in the work of Lazarus Ministries and the neighbors we serve throughout Kansas City. Enjoy an evening at beautiful Unity Village featuring great food, music, drinks, games, fellowship, and opportunities to support our mission. But this evening is about more than having a good time. We're launching 100 Friends of Lazarus, an effort to build a community of committed supporters who will help create sustainable resources for the people we serve. Our ultimate goal is to welcome 100 individuals who commit to giving $100 per month to Lazarus Ministries. Whether you become a Friend, give another amount, volunteer, introduce us to someone new, or simply join us for the evening, you are helping us build what's next.

🌟 Join us in Creating Change! 🌟 At Lazarus Ministries Kc, we know that change starts with people like you. Every act of kindness, every dollar, and every moment of your time brings us closer to achieving our mission. Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate world for all. Every week, our Café welcomes neighbors experiencing hunger and homelessness with warm meals, dignity, and genuine care. September is Hunger Action Month, a time when communities nationwide come together to raise awareness and take action against hunger. The average cost of one meal in Missouri is approximately $3.58. That means a gift of $10 represents nearly three meals, $25 represents seven meals, and $50 represents nearly fourteen meals for neighbors in need. Your gift helps Lazarus Ministries continue providing nourishing meals and a welcoming place where every person is treated with compassion and respect. Together, we can remind our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and never alone. Give today and help us feed hope throughout Hunger Action Month.

$10 — Feed Hope: Represents nearly 3 meals

$25 — Share a Table: Represents approximately 7 meals

$50 — Nourish a Neighbor: Represents approximately 14 meals

$100 — Serve the Community: Represents approximately 28 meals

How you can help power our mission:

Donate: Every dollar counts.
