Legacy of Love Niagara

Legacy of Love Niagara rescues and rehabilitates dogs in crisis across Canada, providing essential vet care, training, and safe shelter. We rely on community support to improve the lives of these animals and find them loving homes.

Welcome to our online fundraising auction. 📣 We are an all breed dogs rescue focusing on Canadian dogs in need. We frequently bring in dogs across northern regions of Canada where stray dog populations are at crisis levels. Stray dogs are forced to live in horrible conditions without shelter, food, or safety. Many die from diseases or injuries, freeze to death in winter or are killed in government dog cull. We also help local dogs in need. Each item up for bid has been generously donated by our supporters, partners, and sponsors, with all proceeds going towards the care of the dogs in our rescue. All dogs that come into our care receive basic vet care (deworming, vaccines, and spay/neuter) as well as any additional vet care needed. We also pay for professional training for dogs who have behaviors or need to build confidence. Dogs also need supplies and operational costs add up. We receive no government funding for the work we do. Everything is covered by adoption fees and fundraising. By participating in our auction, you're not just acquiring items; you're also making a meaningful difference in the lives of dogs who desperately need our help. Spread the word, rally your friends and family, and together, let's make this auction a success! 🚀 Thank you for your support, and happy bidding! Legacy of Love Niagara

Legacy of Love Niagara's Spring Auction

Legacy of Love Niagara is an all breed dog rescue focusing on saving Canadian dogs in need. We focus on helping dogs across northern regions of Manitoba where the stray dog population has become a crisis. Large packs of homeless dogs roam the area with no shelter, food, or medical care. Many dogs die from starvation, injuries, and medical issues. Many also freeze to death in the brutally cold winters. Those that survive risk being shot in dog culls. Every northern dog we have brought it have been kind gentle souls that make wonderful pets. They didn’t deserve the life they were born into. We also help Ontario dogs via owner surrenders and hope to build more partnerships with local shelters as we expand our rescue We know that change starts with people like you. Every act of kindness, every dollar, and every moment of your time helps us to save more dogs. We are currently raising funds to cover emergency vet bills accured in February for our parvo puppy who needed emergency care, our puppy that had gastro and skin issues, and the litter of puppies that were found starving and cold along the side of the road in brutally cold temperatures. All of them were full of parasites and needed additional medical care for chronic diarrhea. Our total debt is $5130 We also have many dogs needing routine vet care and dogs who are receiving professional training to help them thrive. These costs add up quickly and cost several hundred per dog. We receive no government funding. All expenses are paid for by donations and adoption fees. Fundraising is essential for us to keep helping dogs.  How you can help power our mission:

Donate: Every dollar counts. Help Us Save Dogs

We recently took in some puppies from Nunavut, Canada. Sadly, the first puppy fell ill within 12 hours of arrival and soon other puppies became sick as well. Parvo hits fast and hard, especially for young and unvaccinated puppies. Right now, we are covering emergency vet care, isolation, medications, and round‑the‑clock support so these pups have a real chance to heal. 🐾 Your gift goes directly toward parvo testing and emergency care, as well as the food and supplies they need while they recover. Thank you for standing with them ❤️
