Les Touches

Les Touches shares the joy of viol music and enriches the Greater Houston community through performances and education. They strive to make their unique consort repertoire accessible, fostering a love for this captivating art form.

It is time for our second church program for Spring 2026! This program features two sections: 1) Works from Spain spanning from the medieval period to the Baroque period, and 2) popular songs and other works from the New World. Both sections consist of material written and arranged for viol consort, violin and viol, voice &amp; viol, and voice &amp; vielle. Our program will also feature percussionist Jes&uacute;s Pacheco for select pieces. This program will take place in the spacious yet comfortable setting of the Fellowship Hall at the John Knox Presbyterian Church, where audience members can grab refreshments from the nearby kitchen and enjoy them right from their seat while our program runs. Admission is free to the general public, but donations for our efforts for this program are most certainly welcome! We will graciously accept cash, check, or online donations via Zeffy. We at Les Touches are excited to share this program with you very soon, and we hope that you will enjoy it as much as we did in preparing for this program!

You can help support this season&rsquo;s rehearsals, music, and educational outreach so students, neighbors, and early‑music enthusiasts can experience the viol&rsquo;s rich, expressive voice. Every contribution, of any size, directly fuels our upcoming summer performances.
