Live6 Alliance

Live6 Alliance fosters economic growth and community vibrancy in Northwest Detroit by empowering residents, supporting local businesses, and enhancing public assets for an inclusive, thriving environment.

Support longtime residents to remain rooted, protect family assets, establish greater financial security, and build generational wealth. Residents across Northwest Detroit have invested in their homes, families, and neighborhoods for decades, laying the foundation for the strong communities that continue to define the City today. As new investment and opportunity grow across our district, Live6 Alliance is working to ensure that longtime and legacy residents are positioned to be the primary beneficiaries of this momentum and stay firmly planted in the place they have stewarded and cared for throughout their lives. The Resident Investment & Opportunity (RIO) Fund is a multi-year initiative designed to increase and strengthen homeownership, pathways to generational wealth, and connect residents with the suite of services and resources to achieve lasting economic security. Through the RIO Fund, Live6 is expanding residents' access to coordinated assistance that addresses the most significant challenges facing our neighbors and their families, including:

Critical owner-occupied home repairs

Heirs' property and title resolution services

Estate planning support

Property tax relief and foreclosure prevention resources

Asset protection, and wealth-building resources

A contribution to the RIO Fund enables Live6 to provide the flexible resources that respond to our residents' unique and layered needs, fill gaps that traditional funding sources often cannot cover, and maximize the impact of supports for housing stability and neighborhood resilience.
