Longview PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving) was established as a 501(c)3 non-profit in 2016 to support the Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center in Longview, Texas. Our mission is to raise awareness in our community of the shelter’s immediate and long-term needs, fundraise for the benefit of the shelter animals, recruit volunteers and new supporters, facilitate donation drives, coordinate and implement community outreach efforts as well as serve as an animal welfare resource for the residents of Gregg County.

The PAWS & Effect Project is an umbrella of Community Outreach initiatives that impact the lives of animals in our East Texas Community. Every dollar donated to this Project goes directly into supporting our Spay it Forward Free Spay/Neuter program, our #NinaEffect Community Vaccine/Microchip Clinics, and our PAWS Pet Food Pantry. Each one of these programs plays a pivotal role in helping animals lead happy, healthy, enriched lives and reduces the number of unwanted and stray animals in Gregg County, Texas.Longview P.A.W.S.
