LXCL:Mamas for Mamas is a national poverty-relief organization supporting families across Canada. Founded by Shannon Christensen, we believe no family should have to choose between basic needs and dignity. Through community-driven programs spanning food security, mental health, housing support, and essential supplies, we show up for families when the system falls short. We are not a charity that hands things down. We are a community that lifts each other up.

Father&#39;s Day weekend just got a whole lot better. Join us Friday, June 19th at Bar One in the Sandman Hotel Kelowna for a night of good food, cold drinks, and comedy that will actually make you laugh -- all in support of something that matters. Your $35 ticket includes a burger and beer (chicken and veggie/vegan options available, wine and pop too), a side of fries, and a live comedy show from Train Wreck. Plus a 50/50 draw and silent auction to close out the night. Every dollar raised helps send local Deaf and Hard of Hearing children and their families to CNIWT -- an annual summer camp in West Kelowna where the Deaf community comes together in a space built just for them.
