The Marine Corps League LCpl Andrew P Carpenter Detachment 1286 preserves Marine Corps traditions, supports veterans and their families, and honors the legacy of LCpl Carpenter through camaraderie, outreach, and educational events.

🎉Wacky Putt Putt contest at Tin Pin Alley is hosted by the LCpl Andrew P Carpenter Marine Corps League Detachment 1286. &nbsp; Registration is online only.&nbsp; You may not sign up the morning of the tournament.&nbsp; Sign in starts at 7:15 am and play starts at 8:00 a.m. If not signed in by 7:45, you will forfeit your play and no refund will be returned. &nbsp;Your spot may be filled by a player from the waiting list at 7:50 a.m. The scoring sheet will be the official scorecard. &nbsp;The scoring sheet will be kept by the Score Caddie on each hole. &nbsp;No adjustment of scoring will be allowed without a member of the detachment&#39;s approval. &nbsp;No handicap average will be added to the scores. &nbsp;18 holes of golf will be played and the lowest total strokes decide the winners. &nbsp;No obstacles will be moved by the player, this will disqualify the player from the contest. &nbsp;Only one player putts at a time. The Red Cups will be the target cups except on hole #12 the White Cup will be the target cup. On hole #10 the water hole, if your ball goes into the water, you will take a stroke and be given a new ball. If ball leaves the putting area, you will take 2 stokes and bring ball back to the edge of putting area where ball went out. Some of the holes will have additional obstacles in the way of the cup. No obstacles will be moved by the player; this will disqualify the player from the contest. &nbsp; Any movement of the ball will be considered a stroke. &nbsp;If the ball is moved away from the wall, it is a stroke. &nbsp;There is a max of 5 strokes per hole. &nbsp;You will be asked to pick up your ball and take 5 strokes. You may be requested to share a putter with another player. &nbsp;You may bring your own putter if you wish. &nbsp;Only one player putts at a time.&nbsp; In the event of a tie score, there will be a playoff of another hole (or holes) until one winner can be declared. &nbsp;This will also apply to 2nd and 3rd place winners. &nbsp;Additional obstacles will be added for the playoff holes. If a player is under the age of 18, a guardian must also sign the registration form along with the player. &nbsp;If the player is under the age of 15 a guardian must be present and playing in the contest along with this player. &nbsp;The guardian will assume all responsibility for the minor player(s).
