Mason County Search And Rescue

Mason County Search and Rescue is an all-volunteer team dedicated to saving lives. We assist local law enforcement with search, rescue, recovery operations, and disaster response, fueled by community support and a passion for helping others.

Help Us Bring Thermal Vision to Mason County Search & Rescue. Every second counts in a search. You can help us see through the dark. Mason County Search and Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Activated directly by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office, our dedicated team of volunteers selflessly donates hundreds of hours—and supplies their own gear and funds—to bring loved ones home safely. When someone goes missing in dense timber, rugged terrain, or in the dead of night, traditional ground searches take critical time. A thermal imaging drone changes everything: it allows our search teams to detect human heat signatures through thick canopy, cover miles of difficult terrain in minutes, and operate safely after dark. Our Goal: Raise $10,000 We are raising $10,000 to purchase a dedicated thermal search-and-rescue drone and essential supporting gear (extra flight batteries, ground controllers, and field charging hardware). Because we are 100% volunteer-powered, every dollar you donate goes directly toward specialized equipment that saves lives in our community.
