Med-Camps of Louisiana provides free camping experiences for children with chronic illnesses and disabilities, fostering joy and community. Their mission is to create memorable summer experiences that empower and uplift these children and their families.

Over our 39 years of operation, MedCamps of Louisiana has provided camping experiences free of charge to thousands of children living with chronic illnesses and disabilities. Because we charge no dues or fees to attend our camping programs, we must rely upon the continued success of our fundraising efforts and the generosity of individuals and corporations just like you to fund our programs. This year&rsquo;s Dinner and Auction will be held at 6:30pm on Friday, August 14th at Bayou Pointe Event Center on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Monroe. With over 300 people participating in this event, the Dinner &amp; Auction raises over $100,000 annually for our programs for children with chronic illnesses and disabilities. Join us to celebrate our successful summer of camping programs and plan for the future!

MedCamps Dinner & Auction

MedCamps of Louisiana&rsquo;s Fall Bash at Camp Alabama on October 31, 2026&nbsp;from 4PM- 7PM. This event features family friendly activities such as carnival games, jumpers, horseback riding, archery, a petting zoo, cake walk, food trucks, cotton candy and more! &nbsp;Each of our 11 camp cabins will be decorated and set up for trick-or- treating. &nbsp;It really is a fun filled family-oriented event! In 2025, we had nearly 1500 people attend the Fall Bash!!!! &nbsp;We would like your help to make this event even better!&nbsp; We encourage you, your employees, and families to attend. Passes are $15 per person and can be purchased at the gate if needed. MedCamps&rsquo; campers and children ages 5 and under are free.&nbsp;
