The HBCU Experience is a high-energy community celebration centered on youth, culture, and opportunity.Enjoy youth step performances, an engaging HBCU alumni and student panel, voter registration stations, and a vibrant vendor fair featuring Black-owned and women-owned businesses. Youth and families will connect with scholarships, college pathways, and real-life role models in an affirming, high-energy space. More than an event, this is a movement rooted in representation and community pride. HBCU Experience: Homecoming Edition hosted by STEP Movement

🌟 Help Send STEP Movement Students to Washington, D.C. 🌟 STEP Movement is raising support to send our youth step team to Washington, D.C. this summer for a powerful educational and cultural experience. Last year, our students had an incredible time attending Step Afrika&rsquo;s summer camp and exploring historic sites in the nation&rsquo;s capital.&nbsp;Because of that success, we are excited to take even more students this year. Students will attend Step Afrika&rsquo;s summer camp where they will strengthen leadership, discipline, teamwork, and their stepping skills while connecting with other young leaders from across the country. During the trip, they will also visit Howard University and explore historic landmarks including the National Museum of African American History and Culture. Your support helps cover flights, lodging, meals, camp registration, and transportation so our students can fully participate in this life-changing opportunity. A gift of&nbsp;$350 helps send a student to Step Afrika&rsquo;s summer camp, and $400 covers a student&rsquo;s round-trip flight to Washington, D.C. STEP Movement is fiscally sponsored by the Metropolitan Arts Council of Greater Kansas City, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations made through this campaign are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
