Your first step to becoming an official ritmista in Miami&rsquo;s samba community starts here. No musical experience needed. Over six fun sessions, with at-home practice in between, you&rsquo;ll learn the core instruments that shape our Miamibloco signature sound: tamborim, repique, caixa, surdo 1, 2, and 3, timbau, and ganz&aacute;/chocalho. After payment (mandatory to join class officially and receive lessons) To receive lessons you must download join our Miamibloco Discord through the invite link, immediately after signing up, set your name, complete your profile, and&nbsp;introduce yourself in #blocohead. That&rsquo;s where we&rsquo;ll share your next steps, rehearsal updates, and all Academy communications. How it works<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Weekly video lessons &nbsp;are shared on Discord classroom.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Practice at home before &amp; between sessions.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Jam together in person.</li></ul> Just 15 minutes of practice, three times a week, makes a big difference.
