The Michigan Community Health Worker Alliance (MiCHWA) invites healthcare, public health, community, and policy leaders from across the state to the 14th Annual Meeting &amp; Conference, Michigan&#39;s premier statewide convening dedicated to advancing the Community Health Worker(CHW) profession.&nbsp; As healthcare continues to evolve, Community Health Workers play a vital role in improving access to care, addressing social drivers of health, strengthening trust between communities and healthcare systems, and advancing health equity. This year&#39;s conference moves the conversation beyond workforce recognition toward the sustainable infrastructure needed for CHWs to thrive, including financing, policy, education, leadership, supervision, technology, and cross-sector partnerships. 2026 Theme - Beyond the Bridge: Building Sustainable Infrastructure for Community Health Workers: For more than a decade, MiCHWA&#39;s Annual Meeting &amp; Conference has served as the state&#39;s flagship gathering for Community Health Workers and the organizations that employ, support, and partner with them. The 2026 conference will showcase innovative practices, emerging research, statewide initiatives, and practical strategies that strengthen Michigan&#39;s community health workforce and improve health outcomes.
