The Morris Park Singers are back for our 7th season and our newest concert, &quot;The Giving Tree&quot;.&nbsp; Come join us on Monday, December 8th or 15th at 7:30pm at Mill City Church for an evening of great choral music inspired by the beloved Shel Silverstein book. For those who are not able to attend the concert in-person, we are offering an On Demand option following the concerts closing. Ticket sales for that will go live following the December 15th concert. **Please consider adding a small donation to your ticket purchase. NOTES ABOUT THE CONCERT:&quot;The Giving Tree&quot; is considered one of the most beloved books of all time. Playing with themes of love and struggle, the book explores the complicated relationship between the Giving Tree and the Boy. While there are many different interpretations of this relationship, the one that often pulls forward is the unconditional love between a parent and child. Leaning into that interpretation, the Morris Park Singers tell the story of &quot;The Giving Tree&quot; from beginning to end through a beautiful array of choral music.&nbsp;

There are two new exciting things this season: Because of the high growth the choir has experienced this season, we are actually doing TWO in-person concerts this season on Monday, May 12th and May 19th.&nbsp; In addition, we are holding a Silent Auction at both concerts to help raise money for the choir. Bidding on the almost 50 items is open and go until the start of the May 19th concert. NOTES ABOUT THE CONCERT:&quot;The Road Not Taken&quot; is one of Robert&#39;s most famous, and most misunderstood poems. Probably the most popular of the various interpretations is a lesson about forging your path in life. While that is an important life lesson, Robert Frost actually simply wrote this poem as a joke, poking fun as his friend Edward Thomas, who was often indecisive about which route to take when the two went walking. Regardless of which one you connect more with, all of the interpretations have one thing in common: making a decision. Is it a simple and seemingly meaningless choice? Or is it a life altering decision? With our Season 6 concert, the Morris Park Singers provide our own commentary on the &quot;art&quot; of making a choice and what our brains are going through during that process.<a href="mailto:info@morrisparksingers.org" style="text-decoration-color:initial;user-select:auto;box-sizing:inherit;" fr-original-style="text-decoration-color:initial;user-select:auto;box-sizing:inherit;"></a>

Welcome to the Morris Park Singers' 2025 Silent Auction!! Please help our organization raise money to help keep our choir growing and thriving. We are passionate about never charging our singers dues to be in the choir. The Morris Park Singers believe that everyone should be able to have easy access to music in their lives and not having enough money should ever be a reason to not be able to participate, for children and adults. This means that we focus our efforts on grants, donations, and fundraisers to keep us moving.  Silent auction bidding will open on Monday, May 12th and will close at 7:40pm on Monday, May 19th at the beginning of our second concert. You do not need to be present to win. When you place a bid, you will enter your contact and payment information. As soon as the auction closes, the winning bids will be automatically charged using the payment information you entered. Please note:<ul><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;width:100%;line-height:1.5;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">You must be 18 years or older to bid. If item includes alcohol or THC products, you must be 21 or older.</li><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;width:100%;line-height:1.5;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">If you win something, you must provide a valid ID when pick up your item(s).</li><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;width:100%;line-height:1.5;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">Most items must be picked up in person from Mill City Church.
