A regional rebel army has taken control over Goma and Bukavu, and now Uvira. &nbsp;The home of our partners Congo for Christ, Mango Tree School, and the Congo for Christ Family Home are occupied by a foreign army. &nbsp;Our brothers and sisters are currently witnessing atrocities and hiding for their safety.&nbsp;&nbsp; The community we serve has been forced to flee and shelter in place. &nbsp;We will be working to secure housing and reduce the amount of refugees and displaced peoples by continuing to serve from other parts of the region. &nbsp; We are also working to expand our operations regionally. &nbsp;Remember that Motoskate is not a traditional charity. &nbsp;We will build their capacity to serve others, become independent, and foster freedom. We raise money to help pay for their college tuition. The average cost to attend university for students in the region is $2500 USD per year.
