On Sunday, September 28th, Market Street will transform into a vibrant luau-style celebration &mdash; complete with slow-roasted pigs, tropical flavors, backyard games, and island vibes. All proceeds support Mount Airy Downtown, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on revitalizing and sustaining the economic growth of our historic downtown. Community Night Out is a free, family-friendly event on Main Street that brings residents together to celebrate and honor our local public safety officials. Hosted by Mount Airy Downtown, Inc., in partnership with local law enforcement, fire, and rescue teams, this event strengthens the bond between first responders and the community through interactive safety demonstrations, a &quot;Touch a Truck&quot; display, free food, and activities for all ages. Sponsorship opportunities allow businesses to show their support for public safety while engaging with the community in a fun and meaningful way. Businesses looking to set up a booth must be a sponsor unless they are a public safety organization or a public safety oriented nonprofit. Vendors interested in selling snacks and drinks (no savory food, as the Mount Airy Police Department provides free hotdogs) should make a donation to participate.
