Brookins, the Presiding Prelate of the 5th Episcopal District. &nbsp; The Desert Mountain Annual Conference is more than a faith gathering&mdash;it is a regional convening of leaders, decision-makers, and community influencers committed to strengthening churches and the communities they serve. The Mountain Valley District invites pastors, District Stewards, church leaders, and members from across the district and beyond to gather for a dynamic and forward-looking District Conference. This year&rsquo;s theme, &ldquo;Rise Up and Build,&rdquo; is inspired by Nehemiah 2:18 and calls us to strengthen the church for the future with faith, wisdom, and courage. Over three days, we will come together for&nbsp;worship, business sessions, learning, reflection, and strategic planning&nbsp;designed to equip churches for the challenges and opportunities of ministry today. Whether you are clergy or laity, a ministry leader or a committed member, this conference is designed to&nbsp;encourage, empower, and equip&nbsp;you for the work God has entrusted to the church in this generation. The 2nd Biblical Masquerade Ball invites you to step into an evening where Scripture, creativity, and community meet. Join us in this community fundraiser that interprets God&#39;s word from the Creation to the Resurrection, through character portrayals, singing, spoken word, and dancing. &nbsp; Fellowship with some of your favorite and not-so-favorite biblical characters as leaders, members, and friends gather from across the Valley.&nbsp; This gathering supports our mission of strengthening the church for generational impact.
