Mr. Motivator's Bed Bank

Mr. Motivator's Bed Bank addresses bed poverty in the UK, ensuring every child has a safe place to sleep. We raise funds and support local partners to provide beds and bedding, helping children thrive with the restful sleep they deserve.

✨Campaign Update: We Hit Our First Goal ...And We’re Not Stopping✨ Thanks to incredible support, we’ve already reached our first £10,000 target. But the need hasn’t stopped, and neither can we! We’ve now extended our goal to £35,000, so we can provide 100 safe, warm beds for children who need them most. Every donation from this point forward helps turn that momentum into more life-changing impact. But behind that milestone are thousands of children still without a safe place to sleep..... In homes across the UK, nearly one million children are sleeping on cold floors, shared sofas, or thin piles of blankets because they don’t have a bed of their own. This is the reality of "bed poverty" - a hidden crisis caused by a lack of resources, not a lack of care, that leaves parents and carers carrying the heartbreaking worry of knowing their child is starting every day at a disadvantage. Without a good night’s sleep, everything becomes harder. Children struggle to concentrate at school, their health can suffer, and the simple joy of being a child slips further out of reach. It’s more than just feeling tired; it’s the weight of not having a safe, warm and comfortable place to call your own. We raise awareness, raise funds, and support organisations working on the ground to tackle bed poverty head-on. By doing this, we help ensure more children can sleep safely in their own beds and wake up rested, ready for the day, and with a future full of possibility. Our mission is to ensure no child faces the world without the foundation of a good night's sleep. We raise funds and support local partners to provide beds and bedding to families in need, giving every child a safe place to sleep and the fuel they need to stay healthy, learn, and thrive. we envision a future where no child starts their day on the disadvantaged. We see a country where the floor is for play and the sofa is for family, because every child has a safe, proper bed to call their own- giving them the restful sleep and the fair start they deserve. 🌟 Join us in Creating Change! 🌟 At Mr. Motivator's Bed Bank (Registered Charity 1070909) we know that change starts with people like you. Every act of kindness, every pound and every moment of your time brings us closer to achieving our mission. Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate world for all. 💭 Dream Big Day is Mr Motivator’s Bed Bank’s new school fundraising campaign, launching with a pilot in Wigan. The campaign will bring local schools and children together to have fun, get moving with Mr Motivator and, most importantly, help raise awareness of bed poverty and funds to support children who do not have a bed of their own. 🛏️ Around 1 million children across the UK are affected by bed poverty. For some children, bedtime means sleeping on a sofa, on the floor, sharing with siblings or sleeping somewhere that is unsafe or unsuitable. Mr Motivator’s Bed Bank exists to help change that. 💙 As part of the Wigan pilot, participating schools will be able to get involved in Dream Big Day, create their own fundraising page and encourage pupils, families and their wider school community to raise money together. 🎒✨ The campaign is designed to make fundraising positive, inclusive and accessible, while helping children understand that their actions can make a real difference to another child. 🙌 💷 Where will the money go?Funds raised through Dream Big Day will support Mr Motivator’s Bed Bank’s work tackling bed poverty, helping us provide beds and essential sleep items to children who need them and enabling us to support more families through our charity partners. 🎉 The Dream Big Day experience The Wigan event will bring participating children together at The Edge for a special Dream Big Day experience, including the opportunity to get active with Mr Motivator, celebrate what they have achieved and learn more about the difference their fundraising can make. Wigan is the pilot for Dream Big Day, with the ambition to learn from this first campaign and develop a model that can involve schools and communities more widely in the future. 🌍 Every school. Every pupil. Every donation. 💙 Together, we can work towards one simple goal: ✨ A future where no child has to dream of having a bed of their own. 🛏️💭
