Step into our garden and help it grow 🌱 Join Muslim Welfare Canada and Muslim Nature Adventure for a hands-on Gardening Day as we care for the green spaces to address food insecurity.&nbsp; What you&rsquo;ll do<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Use a shovel to fill wheelbarrows with compost</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Take the compost filled wheelbarrow to the farm plot</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Rake the compost to make planting beds</li></ul>Participants need to bring*Their own water bottles; refill not available&nbsp;*Raincoat incase it rains and hats incase it&#39;s too sunny*Nutfree snacks (please do not litter) that can be eaten with dirty hands e.g. bananas, wrapped granola bars; there is no space to sit and eat.&nbsp;*Their own gardening gloves (Dollarama has plenty reasonable priced)*Wear rain boots as the ground can get very muddy&nbsp;*Wear clothing you don&#39;t mind getting dirty and is easy to rinse.&nbsp;*Please pray before arriving. There is no mudfree place to pray.&nbsp;*Porta potty available&nbsp;*Bring a box to place your muddy shoes and keep your regular shoes in the car to wear after the event to keep your car clean Your time supports our mission of compassion, care, and respect for the community.&nbsp; Jazakillahu khairan kathira for your assistance!!! Muslim Welfare Canada (MWC) is teaming up with Muslim Nature Adventure (MNA) for a community hike through the scenic trails of Morningside Park.&nbsp;Registration is open for anyone! 🗓&nbsp;Date: November 15th ⏰&nbsp;Time: 2:00 PM &ndash; 4:00 PM 🎟&nbsp;Tickets:&nbsp;$10 per person 🥪 Snacks &amp; refreshments provided Reconnect with nature, meet new friends, and enjoy the beauty of fall&mdash;all while supporting a meaningful cause. Proceeds will go toward fundraising for the MWC food bank fund, helping nourish families in need. Spots are limited, so register early and step into service with every stride!
