Sudanese Synergy Summit 2026 The Sudanese Synergy Summit is more than an event, it is a movement. Taking place at Michigan State University, this two-day convention-style gathering will bring together Sudanese professionals, students, community leaders, creatives, and allies from across the Sudanese diaspora and beyond. Inspired by Sudanese heritage and shaped by resilience, faith, and shared responsibility, the summit creates space for meaningful collaboration across communities. In a time when Sudanese voices must be amplified more than ever, this summit creates a rare opportunity to reflect on our shared experiences, celebrate our heritage, and mobilize our diaspora toward meaningful, tangible impact. Throughout the summit, attendees will experience:&bull; Inspiring keynote speakers and thought leaders&bull; Engaging panel discussions across industries&bull; Interactive workshops focused on leadership, advocacy, and innovation&bull; Cultural performances featuring poetry, music, and storytelling&bull; Networking opportunities designed to spark collaboration across generations and sectors Hosted by Najwa Foundation in collaboration with One Love One Ummah and community partners, the summit centers Sudanese voices while welcoming allies committed to justice, humanitarian response, and community-led change. 100% of ticket proceeds and additional funds raised during the summit will directly support families affected by the crisis in Darfur, Sudan and refugee camps in Chad through Najwa Foundation&rsquo;s humanitarian programs. Many of these families have been displaced by the Darfur genocide and the ongoing war in Sudan, and they continue to face hunger, poverty, and limited access to basic necessities. This campaign will help provide essential humanitarian support to displaced families, with a focus on food assistance, clothing, and direct relief for those most in need. When We Give, We Restore Dignity. Across Sudan and Chad, displaced families are living through the daily realities of war, displacement, food insecurity, and uncertainty. Many have lost their homes, livelihoods, and access to the basic resources needed to survive. For women, children, elderly individuals, and families living in refugee communities, humanitarian support is not only urgent, it is life-sustaining. Najwa Foundation’s Summer 2026 Distribution Project is rooted in compassion, dignity, and community responsibility. Through this campaign, we are raising funds to provide direct support to families who need it most. Mazin Aboalbashar is a Sudanese geologist who is currently displaced in Tripoli, Libya because of the ongoing war in Sudan. Even through displacement and financial hardship, Mazin has remained committed to his education and future. He has been officially admitted to the Master&rsquo;s Degree in Geosciences for the Energy Transition at the University of Barcelona for the 2026&ndash;2027 academic year. This opportunity represents more than a degree; it is a chance for Mazin to continue his academic journey, rebuild his future, and use his expertise in geosciences and sustainable development to make a meaningful impact. Najwa Foundation is raising funds to help cover the costs of tuition, housing, travel, health insurance, and living expenses so Mazin can pursue this life-changing opportunity. In Mazin&rsquo;s Own Words Below is a personal statement from Mazin sharing his journey, his admission to the University of Barcelona, and what this opportunity means to him.&nbsp; My name is Mazin Aboalbashar, a Sudanese geologist currently residing in Tripoli, Libya, afterbeing displaced by the ongoing conflict in Sudan.I am writing to respectfully request your consideration for any scholarship, financial assistance,sponsorship, or educational support that may help me pursue my graduate studies. I have recently been officially admitted to the Master&#39;s Degree in Geosciences for the EnergyTransition at the University of Barcelona, Spain, for the 2026&ndash;2027 academic year. Receivingthis admission represents far more than an academic achievement; it is an opportunity to rebuildmy future through education after the disruption and uncertainty caused by war anddisplacement. Likemillions of other Sudanese, I suddenly found myself facing uncertainty and the loss ofopportunities that I had worked hard to achieve. Despite these circumstances, I remaineddetermined to continue my education and pursue my long-term goals. Through persistence and commitment, I successfully secured admission to one of Europe&#39;s respected geoscience programs. This achievement strengthened my belief that education is oneof the most powerful means of overcoming adversity and creating opportunities for individualsand communities affected by conflict. Unfortunately, my current financial circumstances make it impossible for me to cover the costs of pursuing this opportunity, including tuition fees, accommodation, living expenses, health insurance, and travel.
