National American Sign Language Education Of Heritage Language Learners

NASLEHL empowers educators to support ASL heritage language learners in K-12 settings through professional development, fostering culturally responsive teaching practices and enhancing ASL instruction for students with familial ties to the language.

NASLEHL Virtual ASL K&ndash;12 Professional Development Spring Series&nbsp; Join NASLEHL for a three-part virtual professional development series designed for educators working with ASL heritage language learners in K&ndash;12 settings. These sessions highlight practical classroom strategies, instructional approaches, and culturally grounded practices to support students with familial or cultural ties to ASL.
