Join the NAACP Alexandria Branch 7043 at the Satire hotel for our 2026 Freedom Fund Dinner, an evening celebrating the leaders and changemakers carrying our community forward. This year&#39;s theme, &quot;Breaking Barriers for the Next Generation,&quot; honors those who have opened doors and built a more just and equitable future for all. The evening brings together community members, civic leaders, and elected officials from across Alexandria and the Commonwealth for dinner, a program of awards, and remarks from distinguished guests. We are proud to recognize this year&#39;s honorees, including Virginia Attorney General Jay Jones, Alexandria Mayor Alyia Gaskins, and the Black and Missing Foundation.
