They offer free or low-cost breast and cervical cancer screenings, diagnostic follow-ups, and treatment. They also help people get vaccinated for HPV, influenza, COVID-19, or shingles.  Equal Hope partners with the University of Illinois Cancer Center (UIC) and UI Health to provide community outreach and education, and to connect people to vaccination sites. At this event NAHN-Illinois will be providing Blood pressure screening and education to Spanish speaking Hispanic Women from the Back of the Yards Community. The women will be given a presentation on Breast Cancer and the importance on mammogram screenings. They will have a Q&A opportunity, listen to testimonials, and they will receive resources. Volunteer Opportunity- Will need 3-4 volunteers (Nurses and student nurses welcome)Please Wear your NAHN-IL shirt or comfortable scrubs.
