Set sail with fellow women in construction for an evening on Lake Minnetonka ⛵ Connect with industry peers, share experiences, and unwind on the water while strengthening the network that supports women&rsquo;s careers in construction. Ticket includes food onboard! Bar onboard for drink purchases!&nbsp; Your registration helps NAWIC continue its work in education, leadership, and advocacy for women across the industry. Invite a colleague, bring your questions, and come ready for real conversation, fresh air, and a relaxed night on the lake. 🌅

Enjoy an evening of connection and fun at the Urban Growler!&nbsp; Our annual Beer &amp; Schmooze event is one everyone looks forward to so don&#39;t miss out!&nbsp; Non-Members - $5Members are free!!!&nbsp; It&#39;s the chapter&#39;s way of saying thank you for being so amazing. We are so grateful to have members that are engaged and passionate about making the construction industry better for all. But remember to please bring your friends because the work of NAWIC is never done! ❤️ First beer (or soft drink) on the chapter! Food sponsored by PCL Construction - WE LOVE YOU PCL!&nbsp; This event will take place outdoors and event tents will be set up so even though there will be an option of shade please ensure you dress for the warm weather! Hosted by Intertek, this event blends connection, learning, and empowerment. Attendees will experience a guided facility tour, networking, refreshments, and a hands‑on self‑defense session designed to build confidence and personal safety awareness.&nbsp; This shared experience not only celebrates Amber&rsquo;s spirit but reinforces our collective commitment to supporting and protecting women in the industry.&nbsp; Schedule:3:00&ndash;3:30 PM - Sign‑in/networking&nbsp;3:30&ndash;4:00 PM - Opening remarks &amp; chapter updates4:00&ndash;5:00 PM - Intertek facility tour with heavy appetizers &amp; beverages5:00&ndash;6:00 PM - Instructor‑led self‑defense session6:00&ndash;6:30 PM - Closing remarks This event is free as a result of Intertek and NAWIC joining forces to sponsor this event. Join us for an insightful discussion at Mulcahy&#39;s newly renovated office! The afternoon will consist of networking, food and beverages, and a roundtable discussion regarding how pressure changes the way we communicate, react, make decisions and trat those around us.&nbsp; We hope you leave encouraged - empowered - excited!!!&nbsp;

BLOCK KIDS Building Competition 👷&zwj;♀️🧱 invites children to explore the world of construction through hands-on building. Using simple materials, kids design and create their own structures while learning how buildings &ndash; and careers &ndash; take shape. Hosted by NAWIC, this event reflects our mission to build educations, careers, futures and lives. Your registration helps us introduce youth to real construction concepts and the women who work in the field every day. WHAT: Interlocking blocks, a piece of string, aluminum foil &amp; paper.HOW:&nbsp;40 minutes to use provided material to build a project related to the construction industry (No adult interaction. No people or animals).&nbsp;SCORE: Based on verbal interview description, use of materials, creativity, enthusiasm, attention to detail and participation.PRIZES: Awarded to top 3 participants.
