North Carolina Chess Association

The North Carolina Chess Association promotes chess in North Carolina through tournaments, education, and community engagement, fostering a love for the game and enhancing critical thinking skills among players of all ages.

Must be a resident of NC and age 65 or older by 18 July 2026. &nbsp;Must be a member of the NC Chess Association.

2026 NC Super Senior Chess Championship

The North Carolina Super Senior Championship is open to all North Carolina residents over 65 years of age with a current NCCA membership. The top player shall be declared North Carolina Champion. If two or more players tie for top player then those players shall be declared Co-Champions.

2026 NC Super Senior Tournament Supplement

The 2026 North Carolina K-12 Girls State Championship is the official scholastic state girls championship of North Carolina, and is the state qualifier for the Haring National Invitational. &nbsp;It will award 50+ trophies and plaques.

2026 NC Girls Tournament Supplement

The North Carolina Closed Championship is open to all North Carolina residents with a current NCCA membership. The top player shall be declared North Carolina Champion. If two or more players tie for top player then those players shall be declared Co-Champions.
