If you raise chickens, ducks, or quail and want to sell your eggs, learning egg candling is a very valuable skill. Egg candling is the process of shining a bright light through an eggshell to inspect its internal contents without cracking it open. You can grade your eggs, see if they are fertilized, and check for internal flaws, like blood spots or cracks.
