Jellycat Summer Hamper

Join us for a workshop dedicated to recall. We aim to help you understand the theory behind how to train the recall, how dogs learn and what motivates them to want to come back or not!!!We will spend some time getting to know your dog and what it is that motivates them. After a short break for both dogs and people!, we will then have some practical sessions practicing the recall. We will gradually change the environment to increase distractions and practice in different areas.Unfortunately this is unsuitable for dog reactive dogs as it will be overwhelming for them. We run 1-1 sessions which would be more suitable for dogs who struggle around other dogs.

The Oak Tree Summer Fair will take place 10am-3pm on Saturday 27th of June 2026!The Local Business Market will have an option of Indoor stalls, outdoor stalls and food van spots. Stall holders located inside Frankie T will be provided with one 6ft table and two chairs, you will need to provide a tablecloth.&nbsp; Stall holders in the main outdoor paddock or outside the craft building will need to provide their own table and gazebo (if they require a gazebo).&nbsp;

Puppy classes are suitable for puppies up to 6 months of age. Would you like to learn the fundamentals of positive dog training, learn to enjoy training and have fun with your puppy? We will cover all the basic exercises you need to develop your puppy&#39;s basic training, such as sit, down, stay, loose lead walking and recall as well as a range of other exercises designed to help develop your bond and enhance your puppies love of training. We will look at understanding all areas of socialising your puppy correctly. 6 Week Block of Puppy Training Classes; Evenings from 6.00pm to 7.00pm All dogs attending must be fully vaccinated.

Running the Great North Run for Oak Tree Animal Charity is an incredible way to make every mile matter. The Great North Run is the world&rsquo;s biggest half marathon, a 13.1-mile (21.1 km) road race held 13th September 2026 from Newcastle upon Tyne to South Shields across the iconic Tyne Bridge, with tens of thousands of runners and cheering crowds creating an unforgettable atmosphere.&nbsp; By choosing to run for Oak Tree Animal Charity, you&rsquo;ll not only challenge yourself in this iconic event, but also raise vital funds and awareness to help rescue and care for vulnerable animals&mdash;turning your personal achievement into real, compassionate impact.

Great North Run 2026

The Colour Run is a fun and exciting 5K event for people of all ages and abilities. Participants will make their way around the course while being showered with colourful powder, creating a vibrant and memorable experience.&nbsp; The event is being held in aid of the Oak Tree Animals&#39; Charity, helping to raise funds to support the important work they do for animals in need. There will also be a variety of stalls on the day, offering refreshments, gifts, and local products, alongside plenty of family-friendly activities and entertainment.&nbsp; Whether you choose to run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, the Colour Run promises to be a fantastic day of fun for the whole community while supporting a great cause.
