Omicron Pi Foundation

The Omicron Pi Foundation empowers communities by partnering with farmers to educate children in agriculture and support the restoration of the historic Friars Point Negro Cemetery, fostering growth, resilience, and cultural heritage.

2025 Fundraising Community Fair

To secure one of our three incredible sites—or even all three—we must energize our fundraising efforts. We currently hold .551 acres (secured), along with the potential of 6.5 and 44 acres in Jonestown, and 55 acres north of Friars Point. The creation of jobs and education for youth in Coahoma County will result in a major impact for all. The Omicron Pi Foundation, our dedicated 501(c)(3) partner, will oversee all donations through our Zeffy fundraising platform. Together, the Friars Point Economic Development Association is making a profound impact on our community.
