Our Lady of Guadalupe Family Life Center empowers families as primary educators and catechists, providing Montessori environments that nurture academic and spiritual growth, fostering unity in Christ's body through partnership with parents.

CGS Level I Formation Week 2 continues our shared work of supporting you as the primary educator and catechist of your child. In this session, we deepen our understanding of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and the prepared Montessori atrium as a place of prayer and quiet discovery. 🙏 Together, we will reflect, observe materials, and practice guiding children toward an encounter with Christ and His Church. Your participation helps build a unified life of faith at home and in our parish community. 🌱

CGS Level I Formation week 2

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level I &ndash; Week 2 continues your formation in guiding young children to encounter Jesus the Good Shepherd through Montessori-based prayer and work. During this week, you&rsquo;ll deepen your understanding of the Atrium environment, practice presentations, and reflect on how to support parents as the primary educators of their children in faith.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level I Formation: Week 2

Cathechesis of the Good Shepherd Level I Formation Course: Week 1Level I catechist formation is for those seeking to serve children who are three to six years old. This is the foundational training for all succeeding levels of catechist formation. All the key themes and presentations that are essential to this method of catechesis are introduced at this level, so it is important for everyone to begin at this level. It is also valuable in understanding the child&rsquo;s developmental needs and religious capacities at this level. By registering, you joining Week 1 of this CGS Level I Formation Course - we look forward to meeting you as we learn and pray together through the week!
