Paddle Forward Pickleball

Paddle Forward Pickleball empowers youth in Maui by providing essential gear and safe play opportunities. Our mission is to ensure every child can participate confidently in pickleball, fostering joy and community through sport.

WE'RE MORE THAN HALFWAY THERE! Our $5,000 match has been achieved! A heartfelt mahalo to Debbie and Jim Davidson for believing in our mission and inspiring others to join them. Their generosity sparked an incredible wave of support for our From Slippers to Sneakers campaign, helping us provide Maui keiki with the proper court shoes, protective eyewear, and equipment they need to play safely. We are deeply grateful for their leadership—and to everyone whose donations made this match possible. Mahalo to everyone who has supported From Slippers to Sneakers so far. Because of your generosity, we're already more than halfway to our goal! But our work isn't finished. At our recent youth pickleball clinic, many kids arrived excited to play—but wearing Crocs or slippers and without protective eyewear. They brought the enthusiasm. They brought the smiles. They just didn't have the gear they needed to play safely. That's why we launched From Slippers to Sneakers. Our goal is simple: to make sure every child who wants to play has the proper court shoes, protective eyewear, equipment, and opportunities to participate in future camps—giving more Maui keiki the confidence to play safely and experience the joy of pickleball. If you've been thinking about making a gift, now is a wonderful time. Whether your donation provides one pair of court shoes or helps support an entire clinic, every dollar moves us closer to our goal. Goal: $20,000 Raised so far: $12,075 We're so close—but we can't get there without you. Together, we can make sure the next child who steps onto the court is equipped, protected, and ready to thrive.
