The Palmer Arts Council enhances community life through the arts by providing diverse cultural experiences, supporting local artists, and offering educational programs that inspire creativity and engagement in the arts for all ages.

Join us for an evening with concert pianist Roman Rudnytsky, presented by the Palmer Arts Council. The beautiful Bailey piano will dazzle the audience as an internationally acclaimed soloist, as well as local talented artists, take the stage!&nbsp;

Join Palmer Arts Council for an evening with Ken Waldman&mdash;poet, fiddler, and storyteller. A performance of Appalachian string band music and poetry, Waldman will play solo music and recite poetry, as well as be accompanied by several Alaskan musicians. The evening performance is family friendly and all are welcome to attend. The concert is hosted by Lekker Coffee house in Palmer. Doors at 6:00, performance at 6:30.&nbsp;

Ball in the House is an R&amp;B/Soul/Pop a cappella group based out of Boston, MA, whose high-energy shows have audiences singing, dancing, and even beatboxing along!With their extensive tour schedule (averaging 200 shows a year), Ball in the House has performed everywhere - from theaters to performing arts centers, fairs &amp; festivals, to opening for some of the biggest acts in the world, such as The Beach Boys, The Jonas Brothers, The Temptations, Fantasia, Gladys Knight, Lionel Richie, Jessica Simpson, Blondie, Smokey Robinson, KC &amp; The Sunshine Band, Diamond Rio, Colin Raye, Orleans, and numerous others.They headlined the 2018 &amp; 2016 China International Chorus Festival in Beijing, won the 2016 Boston Harmony Sweepstakes, and were voted 2014 APCA Band of the Year and 2009 Best of Boston for Outstanding Musical Performers. For six years, they were the voices behind all the Cool Whip commercials and recently wrote and performed the jingle for Amazon&rsquo;s Prime Day. Ball in the House has appeared on America&rsquo;s Got Talent, The TODAY Show, The Daily Buzz, the Philadelphia 4th of July Parade, and SBS Culture Club and MBC News in Seoul, South Korea.Beyond the stage, the group is dedicated to music education, offering workshops and school performances that inspire and engage the next generation of musicians. With a fresh take on classic sounds and a passion for connecting with audiences, Ball in the House proves that the voice is the most powerful instrument of all.Ball in the House consists of the talents of Oscar Hall (Baritone), Tyler Nordin (Tenor), Kevin Cincotta-Guest (Bass), Wallace Thomas (High Tenor) and Jon Ryan (Vocal Percussion).

Please join The Palmer Arts Council in welcoming to back to Palmer, Emma Hill. It has been far too long since Emma has performed in her hometown, and were excited to host her in concert at one of the most iconic Palmer venues, Vagabond Blues! Since 2007, Emma Hill has been creating and performing original music in a professional capacity. Her latest full-length album is called Park Songs. Nature is one of the biggest inspirations in her writing, leading her to immerse herself in natural spaces to fuel her creativity. Growing up in the small Alaskan village of Sleetmute and traveling worldwide, Emma has worked hard to establish herself as a force in the music world. Her albums have received national recognition, and she has toured both nationally and internationally. Her current project, Bird Songs, explores the intersection of music, nature, and climate awareness. Initiated during an artist residency at Studio 88 near Chiang Mai, Thailand, the project incorporates isolated birdsongs from Thailand and Alaska as musical prompts, weaving them into compositions that address themes of climate change, existential crisis, and the human experience. With Bird Songs, she emphasizes climate grief and the urgency of appreciating the natural world as it exists today. Splitting her time between writing and working within the local Anchorage music scene, Emma remains dedicated to keeping music alive wherever she goes, fostering artistic communities and sharing her love of storytelling through song.
