🎉 Excitement is in the air!&nbsp; Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at Parkinson&#39;s South Georgian Bay&#39;s 2026 Charity Golf Tournament Fundraising Event. &nbsp;It&#39;s an event like no other, and we want you to be there! 🎉 Join us for a memorable day on a stunning course&mdash;and make a meaningful impact. On Friday, September 18, 2026, Parkinson&rsquo;s South Georgian Bay invites you to Batteaux Creek Golf Club for a day of golf, community, and purpose.&nbsp; Registration opens at 8:00 a.m., with a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start.&nbsp; Your $250 registration includes lunch, snacks, and access to our silent auction.&nbsp; You will also receive a $100 tax receipt. Every registration to this event will bring us closer to achieving our mission.&nbsp;&nbsp;Together, we are B.E.T.T.E.R - Build knowledge. Enable access. Take part. Team up. Empower health. Research for tomorrow. Every swing, every sponsor, and every participant helps improve the lives of people living with Parkinson&rsquo;s&mdash;and those who care for them&mdash;right here in our community. Thanks to your generosity, our 2025 tournament raised over $25,000, directly launching these ongoing programs at Central Park Arena in Collingwood: Spinning Wheels, Postural Awareness.&nbsp; These programs are helping individuals live each day stronger, more connected, and with greater confidence. &nbsp; But the need is growing.&nbsp;&nbsp;Parkinson&rsquo;s is now the fastest-growing neurodegenerative disease in the world.&nbsp; Emerging research points to environmental exposures, lifestyle factors, and modern systems as contributors&mdash;meaning this is an issue that touches us all. We are counting down the days to our Parkinson&#39;s Fundraiser - Duntroon, Courts for a Cause on the Duntroon Highlands courts! A Heartfelt Thank You:&nbsp; First, a massive thank you to all of you for your commitment to play. We are also incredibly grateful to Stacie and Martin, who continually step up to do good for a great cause. Arrival &amp; Parking:&nbsp; Please arrive 10 minutes early to warm up. Parking is limited, so please carpool and ride together if possible! What to Bring: Please remember your paddle, water, sunscreen, and clothing layers to adjust to the weather. Preparing for Your Session: Marina and I are thrilled for our court time. We promise to deliver at least two actionable tips to improve your game!&nbsp; Please think about one or two skills you want to focus on and bring them to the courts&mdash;or better yet, reply to this email now so we can prepare ahead of time.
