Pearland Robotic Booster Organization

The Pearland Robotic Booster Organization empowers students through robotics education, promoting STEM engagement, especially among girls. They inspire future innovators by hosting hands-on events like the 'Princess with Power Tools' summer camp.

We wish we could host more camps!&nbsp; Mon, July 20 to Wed, July 22 - FLL Robotics Camp (Incoming 4th - 6th grade) For any and all incoming Pearland ISD 4th-6th graders interested in LEGOs or robotics - especially beneficial for students who want to join an FLL team in middle school, but students at all skill levels are welcome! Attendees will work in small groups to design, program, and build a robot with the Spike Prime LEGO kits to complete different challenges throughout the day. They will learn the basics as well as different techniques to build a functional robot from world championship caliber high school robotics students, including robot maintenance and troubleshooting skills.

We wish we could host more camps!&nbsp; Wed, July 8 to Fri, July 10 FTC Robotics Camp (Incoming 7th - 8th grade) For any and all incoming Pealrand ISD 7th-8th graders interested in robotics! Attendees will work in small groups to design, program, &amp; build an FTC robot to complete various tasks throughout the camp. FTC robots are more advanced than FLL level. This camp is perfect for students who want to be on a Jr. High FTC team OR be introduced to robotics. All skill levels are welcome.

Pearadox Robotics FTC Camp for PISD students - FULL

Princesses with Power Tools Princesses with Power Tools is an event held by Pearadox&#39;s Gearbox Girls initiative, where robotics students teach elementary and middle school girls how to use power tools while dressed as princesses. This shows younger girls that being feminine and pursuing a passion in STEM are not mutually exclusive. Our hope is that by encouraging girls to pursue STEM from a young age, there will be more girls that develop a passion for STEM and join the FIRST Robotics community in the future. At this event, girls will participate in activities such as the Lego Robotics challenge, learning about power tools, and creating their own wood working project, along with other STEM activities.
