Pen of Mercy

Pen of Mercy provides vital aid to impoverished families, focusing on widows and orphans. Our mission includes monthly support, food packages, scholarships, and healthcare assistance, aiming to foster compassion and uplift communities in need.

Each year Pen of Mercy distributes non-perishable food packages to poor and refugee &nbsp;families in Pakistan for Ramadan.&nbsp;The approximate cost of each package is $50. The cost fluctuates depending on the cost of the items in Pakistan and the $ exchange rate.&nbsp;Each package lasts approximately two to four weeks for a family depending on the size of the family. &nbsp;Many households in Pakistan have more than nine members due to the fact that the elderly grandparents also live with the family. The following items are included in each package:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Flour (40 kg bag)&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Ghee/Cooking Oil (5 kg container)&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">&nbsp;Rice (5 kg bag)&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">&nbsp;Sugar (5 kg bag)&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Tea &nbsp;(0.5 kg package)&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Daal - Lentils (2 kg bag)</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">&nbsp;Rooh Afza &ndash; Sweet red syrup drink (1 liter bottle)&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Dates (1 kg)</li></ul>Help us feed the poor and refugee families in Pakistan this Ramadan. According to the hadith of our beloved Prophet when you feed a fasting person you get the same rewards as the fasting person without his rewards getting less.
