Join us for the Wilkins Cakery at Phelps Arts Center for a hands-on cookie decorating class 🎨🍪.&nbsp; CLASS INCLUDES:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">6 cookies to decorate</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Multiple icing colors-icing practice sheet&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">practice cookie</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">step-by-step instructions</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Take-home box for your decorated cookies.&nbsp;</li></ul>This class is for the beginner cookie decorator or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! We will be decorating 6 Themed Cookies. Bring your apron and come have fun! Please arrive a few minutes early to check in, exchange your bracelets, submit your best song requests, and find your seat!&nbsp; DIY / Add-On Kit:&nbsp;Order an extra undecorated sugar cookie class kit for $18 and take the class home with you to teach a child or friend! These class kits come with everything you&#39;ll use in class. Cookie Class DIY Kits are created before class, and you&#39;ll pick them up and take them with you after class. Your kits can last for a week or longer. The icing will need to be massaged in the bag, due to settling. Freezing cookies will keep them fresh for a longer period of time, but I recommend using your kit as soon as possible.&nbsp; Terms &amp; Conditions:&nbsp;Class is for ages 12+ only. All participants must be registered &amp; have pre-purchased a class spot to sit at a decorating table. Tickets and class sets/materials cannot be shared between people. Due to the layout of the class, bystanders and non-paying guests are not permitted in the class area. If you are unable to fulfill your reservation, you may transfer your ticket to another person for that class. You may also pick up your cookie kit immediately at the end of class. If a registered participant wishes to transfer their spot, they must notify Wilkins Cakery right away. The original registered participant will not be refunded. If any, all monetary transfers must be handled between participants. Phelps Arts Center and Wilkins Cakery will not handle any money transfers. Refund Policy: All sales are final. In the event of class cancellation by &amp; Wilkins Cakery, a refund will be issued in the form of a Gift Certificate to be used for a future class.&nbsp; Allergen Information:&nbsp;Cookies and Icing contain egg, dairy, lemon, raspberry, and wheat. Cookies are made in a kitchen that contains peanuts, nuts, soy, and other allergens. By registering, you support Phelps Arts Center&rsquo;s mission to make creative experiences accessible in our community. All materials are provided; you&rsquo;ll leave with decorated cookies and skills you can use at home.

Wilkins Cakery Cookie Decorating Class - Patriotic Piping Edition

Join us for a special Father-Daughter Dance on Saturday, June 20th, from 5:00&ndash;7:00 PM! Dress your best and enjoy a fun-filled evening of music, dancing, refreshments, and special memories together. Attendees will learn adorable partner dances and fun lifts, create a small craft, enjoy a special self-photo backdrop opportunity to capture the evening, and hit the dance floor to all their favorite songs. Ticket Pricing:$35 per Pair$15 per additional adult/child! Refreshments, including cookies, desserts, water, and juice, are included with admission. A Night of Laughter at the Phelps Arts Center - Comedy Night featuring Dan Kulp&nbsp; Doors Open:&nbsp;7:00 PM &nbsp;Show begins: 7:30 PM Get ready for a night the whole family will be talking about. Dan Kulp is a comedian, actor, and author whose sharp wit and big heart have made him a crowd favorite across the country. His clean, heartfelt comedy lands with audiences of every age &mdash; equal parts hilarious and surprisingly moving. Dan&#39;s story is one for the books. As a father of five, three of his children are adopted and have special needs. He also grew up in a family that made national headlines when his parents adopted three children with Down syndrome, earning features on PBS and in Newsweek. He has carried that legacy of love and laughter into his own life and onto the stage. Dan has been featured on Good Morning America and is the author of Confounding the Wise. Audiences will be inspired, moved, and thoroughly entertained.&nbsp; Opening the evening is Rochester comedian Dan Viola, warming up the crowd and setting the stage for a fantastic night.&nbsp; clean comedy. Terrarium Building Class with joiFUL 🪴

Join us for an inspiring evening of creativity at the Phelps Arts Center during Acrylic Saturday with Steve Duprey, a guided acrylic painting workshop designed for artists of all experience levels. On Thursday, April 24, from 6:00&ndash;9:00 PM, instructor Steve Duprey will lead participants step-by-step through the process of creating a beautiful acrylic painting. Over the course of three hours, students will explore techniques used in landscape and still life painting while receiving individualized instruction and support throughout the creative process. Special focus will be placed on developing light, color, and depth to bring each painting to life. This workshop offers a welcoming, hands-on environment where participants can build confidence, learn new skills, and enjoy a relaxing artistic experience alongside fellow creatives. 🎨 Summer Art ClubSummer Art Club is a four-day creative experience designed just for kids to explore, experiment, and express themselves through art. Held August 10&ndash;13 and led by the talented team at MWMurals, this program invites young artists of all skill levels to dive into hands-on projects in a supportive, encouraging environment. Each day is filled with opportunities to play with color, texture, and technique&mdash;whether that&rsquo;s painting, drawing, or mixed media. Younger children, ages 6-10, (10 am&ndash;12 pm) will focus on guided exploration and imaginative play, while older kids, 11-14, (2&ndash;4 pm), will have space to build skills, develop ideas, and create more detailed pieces. Beyond just making art, Summer Art Club is about confidence, creativity, and connection. Kids are encouraged to try new things, take creative risks, and celebrate their unique perspective&mdash;no perfection required, just curiosity and a willingness to create. The week culminates in a special public Art Show on August 14 from 12&ndash;2 pm, where friends, family, and the community are invited to view and celebrate the artists&rsquo; work. It&rsquo;s a chance for kids to see their creations displayed and feel the pride of sharing what they&rsquo;ve made.
