Phoenix Children's Chorus transforms children's lives through music, offering world-class choral education and fostering artistic & cultural development. With over 400 choristers, PCC nurtures vocal skills & a love for singing in a diverse community.

Filling out the application does not guarantee you a spot as a chaperone or work crew member as we currently have a certain number of chaperones that we can take per choir. Chaperones will be assigned a group of choristers for the entire weekend and will assist conductors in rehearsals and during activities. The work crew are involved in working in the kitchen as assistant cooks, dishwashers, servers, and working as a team to prepare the kitchen for the next group coming in on Sunday. &nbsp;Camp chaperones and Work Crew members will be required to submit a volunteer application, clear a background check, &nbsp;fill out and sign waiver forms, attend a chaperone/work crew training meeting, supervise a group of choristers during camp (chaperones), and follow all camp handbook rules. Our contract with Lost Canyon will be for 60 chaperones and 35 work crew members at $50. Once we hit our capacity, the rate will increase if space permits. If you are a nurse or certified lifeguard (18 or older, or know of one that could attend camp on Saturday) please let me know ASAP before filling out the form. Instructions for the background check can be found in the Volunteers folder in the Documents section of Choir Genius and must be completed ASAP if you have not processed one this year. 2026 Camp Chaperone/Work Crew Application

Phoenix Children’s Chorus is committed to quality music education within PCC as well as in K-12 schools. As such, we are excited to offer an innovative 3-day workshop for current and future music educators focused on research-based music teaching methods. Inspiring educator Dr. Carol Krueger will share her approach to building literate and independent musicians. Workshop participants will be presented with teaching strategies and techniques for integrating and applying literacy skills to appropriate repertoire with attention given to the development of music literacy curriculum maps and diction maps.

More than just a performance ensemble, PCC prides itself on its rigorous music education curriculum including the study and practice of vocal technique, innovative music literacy instruction, and professional performance skills. The artistic team is staffed with experienced and successful educators with degrees in music and education who average more than 10 years of teaching experience. PCC started with just 35 children, became a 501c3 nonprofit in 2010, and has grown to become Arizona’s premiere mixed-voice youth choral education program, with more than 400 choristers in a variety of ensembles. Our annual chorister support fundraiser allows individual choristers and families the opportunity raise funds for participation though the support of their community. They have the chance to share their story and the impact that PCC has had in their life. Your support will allow these children to experience the life changing power of music. They will be a part of a diverse community that shares their love of singing.
