Platypus Adventures empowers individuals with developmental disabilities through adaptive events. Our mission is to promote fitness, confidence, and community by providing opportunities for athletes of all abilities to participate and thrive.

Saturday, May 2, 2026 marks the return of Tri My Way adult race for athletes 19 and up and Sunday, May 3, 2026 marks the date of our sixth annual Tri My Best youth race for athletes 4-18! Tri My Way and Tri My Best are swim/bike/run events for individuals with developmental disabilities including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, global delays, etc. ALL abilities welcome, including those that may require the use of flotation devices, adapted bikes, walkers, power wheelchairs, and other assistive devices. All athletes will be paired with trained volunteers to encourage, assist and ensure safety. Registration for athletes and volunteers begins January 31, 2026. Registration is limited to ONLY 100 Tri My Best athletes and 40 Tri My Way athletes.
