This summer, for the fourth year in a row, your support will allows us to hire eight local artists to lead workshops for 120 children at the Pimpollo Community Center in Vicente Guerrero — using creativity to support kids in finding their voice, understanding their rights, exploring ecology, and imagining the future they hope for - all as part of a free community summer program.Vicente Guerrero, on the outskirts of Oaxaca, was home to the city's largest landfill for years. The landfill closed recently, but its environmental and social effects are still apparent. When local children were asked what their community needed, their answers included clean water, safety, and greater opportunity.The four weeks have an impact that goes far past the summer - and it depends on support like yours!
