Before the whistle, everything is in play. Thank you for joining us for The Wolves. On an indoor soccer field, nine teenage girls prepare for the next game. As they stretch, pass, and run, their voices overlap - jokes, arguments, fears, and questions about a world far larger than the field beneath them. At once kinetic, sharply funny, and deeply moving, Sarah DeLappe’s Pulitzer Prize-finalist play captures the fierce intimacy of a team and the complicated, often invisible work of growing up. Presented by 3Peace Studios & Point Loma Playhouse, this intimate production places you just beyond the sideline, where every pass, pause, and silence reveals more than the players intend. Take your seat. The cleats are laced. The team is warming up. The whistle is about to blow. The Wolves are taking the field. Two weekends only. Seven performances.Don't miss your chance to join the wolf pack. Finding Nemo JR

Summerstock Theatre Intensive: Finding Nemo JR - CAST

Pieces by Thomas J. Misuraca is a gripping dark dramedy that explores grief, identity, and what it truly means to be whole. Directed by Kara Tuckfield and produced by Jailyn Osborne, the play follows four transplant recipients invited to a luxurious Palm Springs retreat, only to discover their host is the widow of their donor. What begins as an unusual getaway quickly becomes something far more intimate and unpredictable, as emotions rise, connections deepen, and each guest is forced to confront the pieces they carry - and the lives they’ve been given. Sharp, thought-provoking, and unexpectedly funny, Pieces is a powerful theatrical experience that asks: what does it really mean to be whole? Ruthless! The Musical is a wickedly funny cult favorite that skewers stage mothers, child stars, and the price of fame. Starring Eileen Bowman as Judy Denmark and David McBean as Sylvia St. Croix, this campy comedy follows Tina, an eight-year-old with enormous talent and absolutely no limits - including murder - to get the lead in her school play. Sharp, outrageous, and packed with big laughs, Ruthless! is deliciously dark fun from start to finish. *Contains Mature Themes, Adult Language, & Violence FRIDAYS March 13th, 20th, & 27th - 7:30pm Show SATURDAYS March 14th, 21st, & 28th - 3:00pm Matinee & 7:30pm Show SUNDAYS March 15th, 22nd & 29th - 3:00pm Matinee MONDAY (Industry Night) March 23rd - 7:30PM Show

Fa La La La Leigh!!! A Holiday Cabaret

She's at the Library! returns to Point Loma Playhouse Local author Dori Salois's insightful-and-delightful take on a Christmas classic imagines the story of It's A Wonderful Life from the perspective of Mary in a "Georgeless" timeline where she is the community's leader in their stand against Mr. Potter. What will happen when George's wish that he'd never existed brings him into that timeline, expecting to find Mary in the familiar (to him) role of the dutiful wife and mother? She's at the LIbrary had its world debut at Point Loma Playhouse in 2021, earning rave reviews and audience appreciation, and we are so delighted to bring it back for a one-night-only staged reading with many of the original cast! The production is a collaboration of Vantage Theater, Point Loma Playhouse, and the La Jolla Theater Ensemble. We are pleased to offer this production to the community for just a suggested donation. Thank you for supporting live theater in our community!

The Language of Magic: Holiday Harmonies for You and Your Loved Ones Last December, our stage hosted Nancy Ross in a sellout one-woman show featuring the music and stories of Joni Mitchell. This year, Nancy and friends return with songs and stories of holiday magic. At this family friendly show, all ages are welcome, so take a moment to step out of the holiday hubbub and enjoy a relaxing evening of downtime and togetherness against a backdrop of the music that is, for so many of us, at the very core of the magic of Christmas.

Little Shop of Horrors

💛 This Giving Tuesday, Point Loma Playhouse is standing at a defining moment. We’ve grown faster than we ever dreamed - but we cannot move forward without the support of our community. With our new theatre home in Hillcrest/Bankers Hill, incredible productions like Little Shop of Horrors, and a growing audience hungry for more, we are on the edge of something extraordinary. But the truth is simple:We need help. Your Giving Tuesday donation keeps the doors open, the lights on, and the magic alive. It allows us to create experiences that bring families together, give kids a place to shine, and offer artists a home where their voices truly matter. If Point Loma Playhouse has ever made you laugh, think, feel, or feel seen - if a performance has touched your heart or a child’s moment onstage has made you proud - please consider giving today. Your generosity today is the difference between what we dream… and what we can actually build. Thank you for standing with us, believing in what we do, and helping us create a home where storytelling, creativity, and community can thrive. All donations are tax deductible.

What exactly does it mean to be normal? Thank you for joining us for Next to Normal. From the outside, the Goodman family looks much like any other. Inside their home, love, memory, grief, and mental illness collide as each of them struggles to hold on to themselves, to the truth, and to one another. Driven by a soaring rock score, Next to Normal is an electrifying portrait of a family trying to survive what cannot be neatly fixed. At once intimate, devastating, unexpectedly funny, and ultimately hopeful, this Pulitzer Prize-winning musical has transformed contemporary theatre and continues to resonate with audiences around the world. Presented by 3Peace Studios & Point Loma Playhouse, this new production brings the story breathtakingly close: every rupture, every silence, and every fragile act of connection. Take your seat. The house lights are fading. The music is about to begin. And in the darkness, there will be light. Welcome to Next to Normal.
