Potters Bar (SIG) Residents' Association

The Potters Bar (SIG) Residents' Association unites local groups to protect Potters Bar's Green Belt from development threats. We advocate for community voices in planning decisions, ensuring a sustainable future for our town's environment and heritage.

Your donation helps residents challenge the proposed data centre in Potters Bar. The committee of Potters Bar (Special Interest Group) Residents Association (PBSIGRA), have set up this fundraiser to help stop the data centre in Potters Bar.&nbsp; This construction the size of&nbsp;Wembley Stadium&nbsp;will change everyone&#39;s lives forever and it will be on your doorstep. Not just human life but wildlife too. If you care for your local environment and your town please donate. We do realise that there are quite few campaigns impacting Potters Bar at the moment, but because this one is not right on your street doesnt mean to say there will be less impact.&nbsp; Donations received will support PBSIGRA in obtaining expert advice in several areas of concern for the upcoming Reserve Matters Planning application by Equinix for the data centre, which should be sometime in August. We are going to engage the services of several professionals, including our solicitors, Richard Buxton, and we anticipate that all of this could cost approximately &pound;10,000. This expertise will be used for rebuttals against Equinix&rsquo;s plans.
