Project for Empty Space (PES) is a multifaceted arts organization that includes Exhibitions, Artists Residencies, Public Art initiatives, and Artist Professional Development opportunities. Our programs lean into social discourse, including narratives that have been historically and systemically erased. We strive to course-correct historic instances of forced marginality, in-equity, and in-visibility. Today, in our efforts to support socially-oriented artists, we maintain a commitment to holding space for both looking back and looking to new potentials and futures. How you can help power our mission:Donate: Every dollar countsShare: Share this page with your friends, family, and on social media. Support Space for Artists. Be One of The PES 100 CircleArtists need space to create and a community that supports their work. A studio gives an artist a place to return to. An exhibition space creates opportunities to share the work and begin a conversation. Keeping these spaces available requires support throughout the year.Join The PES 100: At Project for Empty Space, we are inviting 100 people to become part of our inaugural circle of supporters. With a commitment of just $100 a month, you can help sustain spaces for artists and the communities their work brings together. You can also make your $1200 annual contribution upfront by December 31, 2026, so your gift will be tax-deductible for the 2026 year to the extent permitted by law.Your contribution supports PES as a whole, including exhibitions, artist residencies, and studios. As PES grows, your steady support helps sustain the programs and spaces artists rely on. Join us by December 31 and be among the first 100 supporters helping keep space for artists. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact Lucia Roldan, Director of Development at lucia@projectforemptyspace.org
